Welcome to Studio Eight, the boutique and fitness studio in Panama City! We offer both group and private classes tailored to your needs. Our sessions blend traditional practices with contemporary innovations, providing a transformative and engaging workout. Experience dynamic classes that integrate strength, mobility, and creativity to elevate your fitness journey and inspire lasting results.

Meet the Founder

Amanda Siegel

My name is Amanda Siegel and I am the owner of Studio Eight Pilates. 

​My dream was to create a welcoming space to experience the power of pilates. What lead me to pilates? As a former college athlete I have felt the toll of years of weight lifting. I tried Pilates originally due to lower back pain and to gain flexibility. As Joseph Pilates said "You will feel better in ten sessions, look better in twenty sessions, and have a completely new body in thirty sessions." And I have lived that truth.

I trained and got my certification under balanced body. I completed my 332 Total Hours for Mat and Reformer Pilates. And have continued my personal practice under many amazing instructors from South Florida to the Panhandle.

On the rare occasion I'm NOT in the studio, you can find me kayaking, golfing, and hiking with my husband and our dog Mack.

Fun Fact: Studio Eight's  name is inspired by the Spanish word for eight, 'ocho', which happens to align with our founder's maiden name 'Ochoa'.  Growing up, she was known as 'Ocho' on the softball, basketball, and soccer fields.

SOCKS

Grip socks are not mandatory while in the studio.But highly recommend!

10 MINUTE RULE

For safety reasons, the studio will be locked 10 minutes after the class has commenced.

LATE CANCELLATION

/NO SHOW

Group Classes not attended without a 8-hour cancellation notification will forfeit the class. Private sessions need to be cancelled 24-hours in advance otherwise session is forfeited. 

INJURY & LIABILITY 

Please note that all clients attend classes at their own risk. Studio Eight will not be liable for any injuries sustained in the studio.

Pilates Practice on a Reformer

Reformer Flow

Ideal for those who are new to Pilates or those who wish to improve skills.

We absolutely adore all things Pilates and truly believe that the traditional approach is simply amazing! Our workout is designed to get you moving in all planes of motion and mobilize your spine in flexion, rotation, lateral flexion, and extension. You'll have a blast using the reformer, long and short box, and a variety of Pilates props. Get ready to feel energized and invigorated!

Refromer Sculpt

Burn x Intermediate

If you want to tone and strengthen your muscles while feeling elongated and defined, Refromer Sculpt is the perfect choice for you. Our combination of controlled and dynamic movements will help you achieve your fitness goals and leave you feeling the burn. Our experienced instructors provide just the right amount of support, with a touch of advanced Pilates repertoire.

Refromer Jumpboard

Jump x Pilates

Our low impact cardio class using a “jumpboard.” This class will use a variety of equipment, including reformers, resistance bands ,and other props to jump, curl, pulse, and smile your way through the class. After, you'll feel energized and prepared to take on anything!

Private Training

We offer private sessions at our studio that can be booked by appointment only and last for 50 minutes.

If you're new to Pilates, we encourage you to complete 1-4 Private Sessions before joining our Reformer Group classes. If you are new  to pilates  our 2  Intro  private pack.  to help you become comfortable on the reformer and join our group classes with ease.

Contact the studio to book your private or semi-private session and work with our instructors to improve your mobility, flexibility, muscle tone, and strength. Pilates is also a safe form of rehabilitation or post-recovery from an injury or surgery.
