WHAT IS REFORMER PILATES?

Reformer Pilates is an apparatus-based form of exercise, that utilizes the principles of Mat Pilates and movement principles.  The reformer adds spring-loaded resistance to facilitate a whole body exercise without impact or strain on the body.

Do I need experience to Join a class?

It is encouraged to take a private lesson before going into classes if you are unfamiliar with Pilates and the reformer. If you have a basic movement and fitness level FLOW or SCULPT are great options for class style.

Can I do Pilates if I'm injured or Pregnant?

Yes! Be sure to notify the studio or your instructor in advance so we can make modifications as needed. Pilates is safe during pregnancy. But, we do ask for you to talk with your doctor and get release form. Pilates is a safe way to build strength and stability throughout pregnancy.  Instructors are trained in Pre and Postnatal Pilates, and can always provide modification.

Do I need Grip Socks?

For your safety and hygiene, we strongly recommend wearing grip socks during our classes. You can purchase them at our studio, but they are not mandatory.

Whats Our Cancellation Policy?

Because Studio 8 is a boutique studio, every spot counts, there is a 24 hour cancellation policy. We encourage all clients to book and manage reservations through the app— be sure to download in the App Store!

How Often Should I do Pilates

Looking to achieve the full benefits of Pilates We recommend attending our classes at least twice a week. Our schedule is designed to allow you to attend up to six days a week, with higher frequency leading to faster results in mind-body connection. Join us for a transformative experience!
